Today's Sail Into Life is one of the many activities happening in Bunbury this Labour Day long weekend as part of the Aqua Spectacular Festival..

As usual there was a great turn-out of exited people of all ages and ability who enjoy having a sail.

The festival – in its second year in the revamped format – will see a raft of activity across Greater Bunbury for three fun-packed days. From key events such as the State Championships Dragon Boat Regatta on the Sunday, to the novel new Nude Gnome Painting on Monday, this year’s festival has it all.

Some of the key highlights of the weekend include:

  • The Krikke Boys Shootout on Saturday and Sunday, with the popular pre-race modelling show on Friday.
  • The Multicultural Night Under the Stars Concert on Saturday.
  • The 30th Barrett Bunbury Swim Thru starting at the Lechenault Inlet Beach on Saturday.

A novel new event is the Nude Gnome Painting, run by the Bunbury Leschenault Rotary Club. Participants will be able to purchase gnomes, paint them and have them delivered to the Aqua Spectacular section of the world-famous Gnomesville in the Ferguson Valley.
